Nature, beauty, silly and unusual things that make an impression…
If I see something that piques my interest, I want to either paint it by itself or incorporate it into a larger work. I tend to be inspired by plants, flowers and animals but am very comfortable branching out from these.
I believe that all subjects deserve some sort of understanding or exposure, be it a grand, manmade structure of great significance or a little worm going about his day, perhaps unaware that he even exists. In my mind, the best art incorporates both at the same time!
